Our contribution to the community is focused on the development and implementation of ecological solutions that improve the quality of life and protect the environment. We are the representative voice of the green roof and wall industry and work together with authorities, organizations and institutions to create policies and regulations conducive to sustainable development. Our goals include promoting and supporting sustainable building practices, supporting and encouraging innovation in green roofs and walls, and developing community projects that deliver tangible benefits. Within our association, our members will have access to resources and events that help them grow professionally and keep up with the latest trends and technologies in the field. We promote collaboration and networking between professionals and enthusiasts in the field, creating an active and dynamic community.
Nowadays the challenges associated to urban development have become increasingly evident, and our association is devoted to find innovative and optimal solutions to create a green and ecological urban environment.
In contemporary cities, the issues related to rising temperatures, downpours, and pollution are increasing. The negative impact of these events on health, as well as on natural resources and biodiversity, is evident. We believe that together we can establish a new approach to the use of urban spaces in a conscious way, reintroducing green nature into the urban landscape with all ecological benefits.
By promoting the concept of green islands, we try to reintegrate nature into the urban environment. Green roofs and walls are innovative and effective solutions that could bring numerous advantages and contribute to a more sustainable habitat.
By installing green areas on roofs and walls, our goal is to bring back biodiversity into the heart of cities and provide people with pleasant and aesthetic green spaces. Green islands reduce the effects of urban heat, absorb intense rainfall, facilitating urban drainage systems, and combat pollution. They improve air quality, and they contribute to the creation of a more resilient and sustainable urban environment. Additionally, green spaces in the urban environment provide refugee for both humans (with various recreational and relaxation opportunities) and animals, such as insects and birds, which are exposed to the harmful conditions of the urban environment.
Our association, with an innovative approach, aims to increase consciousness of the community and collaborate with local authorities, urban planners, architects, landscapers, investors, and other relevant organizations to implement green solutions in urban development projects. Together we can transform the urban environment into a green and sustainable place for future generations.
